📵 WhatsApp Will Stop Working On These Phones – Are You Affected?

📱 Starting May 5, 2025, WhatsApp will officially cease support for dozens of older smartphones. Devices that once led the mobile revolution will now be left behind as the app aligns with modern security and functionality standards.

💡 If you or someone you know is still using a iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, or an early Android model like the Galaxy S3 or Moto G (1st Gen), WhatsApp will no longer run — even with an update. The decision affects both personal and business accounts.

🔐 Meta says this change ensures users remain secure on newer devices, but for those clinging to the classics, it’s the end of an era. Curious about the full list and what’s next?

🔧 Here’s what’s changing: • WhatsApp requires iOS 15.1 or later.
• KitKat and older Androids are now incompatible.
• Popular models losing access include: Galaxy Note 2, Xperia Z, HTC One X+, Nexus 4 and more.

🛑 While this may impact few users, it’s a symbolic farewell to some of the most iconic devices of the 2010s.
